What Is the Wheel of the Year?

🕯️ What Is the Wheel of the Year?

A sacred calendar of Earth-based spirituality. A seasonal spiral of life, death, and rebirth.

The Wheel of the Year is a cyclical map of eight seasonal sabbats (festivals or holy days) observed in many pagan, Wiccan, and Earth-based spiritual traditions. These holidays mark the turning points of nature—the solstices, equinoxes, and cross-quarter days that reflect the rhythm of the sun, the harvest, and the cycles of life itself.

Instead of a linear calendar, the Wheel invites you to live in alignment with nature’s flow—to honor the energy of each season, reflect inward, and reconnect with your body, spirit, and the Earth.
